The anime’s official website describes the romantic-drama as:
It is winter of their third year of high school, near the end of second semester, when students have very little time in high school left. Everyone is just waiting for graduation.
Until he suddenly came home.
He was their classmate in middle school that had moved far away. He transferred in at a peculiar time, which reunited them. It was as if it were a ‘go signal’ rang out to the feelings of the students who had just thought to end their high school life without fanfare.
The anime’s main characters are:
Mio Natsumi: She was Eita and Haruto’s classmate during middle school. Mio studies hard in order to enroll in college, but lingering unrequited feelings for a high school crush still affect her.
Eita Izumi: He is a transfer student and is reunited with his old friends during the second semester. Eita was best friends with Haruto in middle school, and his transfer is treated like a reunion between the two.
Ena Komiya: She is a second-year student and a member of the photography club. Ena plans on entering a contest to save the club from disbanding and she accidentally witnesses a reunion between Eita and Haruto.
Haruta Sōma: He is a member of the baseball team and already has a job in place after graduation. Haruta wants to hit a home run and confess to someone he likes.
Hazuki Morikawa: She is a member of the school’s concert band and has already decided on the college she wants to attend. Hazuki comes from a farming family and has no interest in romantic relationships.
The voice cast was not announced, but the website did reveal the anime’s staff. Atsushi Kobayashi (Girls und Panzer der Film storyboard artist) will direct, Hajime Kamoshida will write the scripts, Kiseki Himura is designing the cast, Nagi Yanagi (Nagi no Asukara composer) will produce the music, and PINE JAM will produce the animation.
