In FHM’s April 2017 issue, a fiery talented girl is on its cover!
Meet Miss Phoebe Walker, a British-Filipino model-actress who’s currently on the pedestal of her career.
Doing commercials when she was just 15, she studied in Ateneo before pursuing her dreams as an actress. Aside from modelling and acting, she’s also into singing and dancing.
In fact, she was on the backstage preparing for a production number when her name was called as the Best Supporting Actress winner in the recent Metro Manila Film Festival in December of 2016 for her role as the tempting Sister Cecilia in Erik Matti’s Indie Film “Seklusyon.”
The 31-year-old actress said she wasn’t really expecting the award because her co-nominees were big names in the industry like Gladys Reyes and Mercedes Cabral.
On the FHM issue, the readers and fans will not only be charmed by her daring model poses but at the same time get to know her personally.
Miss Phoebe Walker was also the co-winner of the Amazing Race Philippines Season 2 together with boyfriend Matthew Edwards in which they won two houses and lots, two KIA Sportage SUVs and 1 million pesos each from PLDT Home Telpad.
However, there’s a Filipino saying that goes “ang punong hitik sa bunga ay pinupukol,” and along with the blessings, comes her online bashers; saying she didn’t deserve the MMFF award. She had initially broken down in tears to. But now she is more determined than ever to live her dreams, and ready to face life’s challenges.
